Ozzy Osbourne’s health issues have been well documented in recent years, but the ‘Prince Of Darkness’ vowed he’d return to the stage for a royal send off at some point in the future. That time has come.

Heavy metal heavyweights from past and present will come together at Birmingham’s Villa Park on 5 July 2025 to celebrate pioneers Black Sabbath in their final ever show titled ‘Back To The Beginning’. Ozzy will stand on stage again with original members Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward – playing for the first time in 20 years – who reunite for this extraordinary one-off concert.

It’ll mark the first time Black Sabbath have been on stage together since 2017. But if a reunion wasn’t enough, there’s a swathe of fellow metal mainstays that’ll join for Ozzy and the band’s final farewell: special guests include Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice In Chains, Halestorm, Lamb Of God, Anthrax and Mastodon.

An all-star lineup of shredders and headbangers will also see additional performances from Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins), David Draiman (Disturbed), Duff McKagan and Slash (Guns N’ Roses), Frank Bello (Anthrax), Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit), Jake E Lee, Jonathan Davis (Korn), KK Downing, Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Mike Bordin (Faith No More), Rudy Sarzo, Sammy Hagar, Scott Ian (Anthrax), Sleep Token ii (Sleep Token), Papa V Perpetua (Ghost), Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), Wolfgang Van Halen and Zakk Wylde
